Real Madrid are interested in signing Liverpool star Dominik Szoboszlai in the summer transfer window, according to reports in Spain.
The Spanish capital side have reportedly identified Szoboszlai as a potential midfield reinforcement and have been monitoring his performances this season.
Real are claimed to be willing to pay around €90m (£78m) to lure the midfielder from Anfield, although Liverpool are not expected to entertain his departure easily, despite Szoboszlai ‘dreaming’ of a move to the Spanish club.
The Hungary international has been an important part of Arne Slot’s squad this season, scoring seven goals and providing five assists in 30 appearances.

According to Spanish publication Fichajes, Real already considered launching a pursuit for Szoboszlai during his time at Bundesliga side Leipzig, whom he left for Liverpool in the summer of 2023.
The 'world-class' 25-year-old played a key role in Liverpool’s Premier League title win last season and maintained Slot’s trust despite Liverpool’s summer spending of £455m, which saw the arrivals of Florian Wirtz, Alexander Isak and Hugo Ekitike.
Szoboszlai’s versatility has been key for the Reds this season, with the attacking midfielder covering on the right wing, as well as at right-back, amid injury issues within the squad.
A move to the Spanish capital this summer would see Szoboszlai reunite with former Liverpool teammate Trent Alexander-Arnold, who joined Real before the season.
The England international has endured a difficult start to life at the Santiago Bernabeu, making just 11 appearances since joining and suffering two injuries.
Real were also linked with signing defender Ibrahima Konate last year, but have since informed Liverpool they will not pursue a move for the Frenchman.
Andy Robertson Targeted by Tottenham

Yet to register any major transfer activity this month, Liverpool could soon be parting ways with their long-serving left-back Andy Robertson.
Tottenham Hotspur are believed to be working on a move for the Scotland international, with Liverpool expected to recall Kostas Tsimikas from his loan spell at Roma if the transfer goes through.
Robertson, who turns 32 next month, has played second fiddle to summer arrival Milos Kerkez this season, making just four Premier League starts for the Reds.
The former Hull City left-back is out of contract at the end of the season, with Tottenham eyeing a low-cost deal to bring him into Thomas Frank’s injury-hit squad.
