Another loss this weekend has put Liverpool back under the microscope, and Jamie Redknapp makes a rather concerning point.
Liverpool’s unbeaten run had to come to an end at some point, but the travelling fans will have left the stadium with a sour taste in their mouths.
It’s a game the Reds should have won. The kind they would have done last season.

The defeat to Bournemouth is just more evidence of Redknapp’s theory.
Jamie Redknapp on what Liverpool are missing from last season
It’s fair to say Liverpool walked the league last term, stretching a lead at the top of the table and maintaining it for months.

That makes fixing the problems that bit more difficult.
As Redknapp points out, something is missing from Liverpool compared to their title run last season.
Just how Slot addresses that is hard to say, but with Liverpool in contact with Xabi Alonso, he would want to figure it out quickly.
