Arsenal suffered another blow to their Premier League title hopes after losing a five-goal thriller at home to Manchester United on Sunday.

Matheus Cunha scored what turned out to be the winning goal at the Emirates Stadium, a brilliant curling effort from range, to consign Arsenal to their first home defeat of the season.

The result means the Gunners’ lead at the top of the table has been cut to four points after title rivals Manchester City and Aston Villa recorded 2-0 wins over Wolves and Newcastle respectively.

As for Man United, after a stunning performance in the derby win over Man City last weekend, it’s another feather in the cap of Michael Carrick as his side leapfrog bitter rivals Liverpool in the table to go fourth.
