Chelsea are now "keen" on signing a key defensive addition in an instant summer move, according to recent reports.
Chelsea ease past Crystal Palace
Chelsea simply keep rolling on under Liam Rosenior. The new boss has received his fair share of doubters, but a 3-1 victory against Crystal Palace has once again showed exactly what he's capable of in the dugout.
Even without Cole Palmer, the Blues ran riot courtesy of goals from Enzo Fernandez, Estevao Willian and Joao Pedro sealing a routine afternoon. It's now just one defeat in five games in all competitions for Rosenior, who has the challenge of travelling to face Antonio Conte's Napoil side up next.
Pedro, among the goalscorers, revealed what Rosenior told his side at the break - telling reporters: "We knew this would be a tough game, they have a strong team. We knew we need to win second balls and fight the whole game. We scored three goals, conceded, but get the three points.
"In the first half we could have played more with the ball, and did not control the game but at half-time the gaffer told us to keep going, play with intensity and when we scored the second we could breathe a bit."
The doubts may continue to come for Rosenior, but so may the results as well as potential reinforcements. The Blues have already been linked with a move for the likes of Franco Mastantuono from Real Madrid and could make quite a statement this month.

Meanwhile, BlueCo have also set their sights on the summer and have could make an instant move to reinforce the Blues' backline ahead of Bayern Munich.
Chelsea "keen" on summer move for Jacquet
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are now "keen" on a move to sign Jeremy Jacquet as soon as possible this summer. The Blues want to make their move in an instant this summer after Stade Rennais informed them that their defender is not for sale in the January transfer window.
Whilst they're set to miss out despite their approach this month, Chelsea could simply wait until the summer to make their move for the defender, who could cost a hefty £60m.
Dubbed "excellent" aerially by U23 scout Antonio Mango, Jacquet won't be short on suitors in the summer, though Chelsea should feel like favourites after making contact this month.

The Blues are interested in signing a new midfielder.
If Rosenior's squad could be improved, it is at centre-back amid injuries to the likes of Levi Colwill. In one move, the addition of Jacquet would provide a major boost.
