In their PR announcement, the Suns declared that Devin Booker has sustained a right ankle sprain. For this, he will be out for a week to recover.

Booker sustained his ankle injury in Phoenix's 110-103 road loss against the Atlanta Hawks last Friday. After leaving the arena on crutches, it was already expected that he'll be unavailable for a significant timeframe.

He was already ruled out for Sunday's game against the Miami Heat.

Grayson Allen, Collin Gillespie and Jordan Goodwin are all expected to step up in the absence of Booker. Dillon Brooks is set to have an increased load in leading the Suns without the star guard.

Booker appeared in 41 games so far this season, averaging 25.4 points, 6.2 assists and 4.0 rebounds.

The Suns will play at home against the Nets, Pistons, Cavaliers, and Clippers this week.
