Chelsea interested in 113-goal Serie A striker

Chelsea overcame 10-man Crystal Palace to earn an important win in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

The Blues were without talisman Cole Palmer at Selhurst Park but went ahead early on when his replacement, Estevao, put Liam Rosenior’s side in front.

Joao Pedro then doubled their advantage shortly after the restart, before Enzo Fernandez converted a penalty to make it 3-0 to the visitors in south London.

England international Adam Wharton was then shown a red card after being booked twice in quick succession, before defender Chris Richards netted a consolation for the hosts and wiped out Chelsea’s clean sheet.

Sunday’s victory leaves Chelsea fifth in the Premier League, ahead of a trip to Italy to face Napoli in the Champions League on Wednesday evening.

In the meantime, it appears that the Blues are eyeing a move to sign a prolific Serie A striker this summer.

As per TEAMtalk, both Chelsea and London rivals Tottenham Hotspur are keeping tabs on Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic.

The Serbia international is in the final months of his current contract with the Old Lady and is set to be a free agent at the end of the current season.

He has netted 54 times in 162 games for Juventus across all competitions since joining from Fiorentina in 2022, but it appears that he will leave Turin this summer.

Fellow Serie A side AC Milan are said to be keen to land the striker this summer, however the report claims that the player may not remain in Italy and could instead move to the Premier League.

Both Chelsea and Spurs are said to have been constantly kept updated on the player’s situation, and the report suggests that the player is in fact keen on the idea of a move to the Premier League.
