The Knicks have emerged as one of the interested trade teams for the Mavs wingman.
With less than two weeks left before the NBA trade market closes, the New York Knicks are one of the key teams to watch that can make significant moves to fulfill their contention needs.

Out of this, they are being pegged as an interested team for Naji Marshall. According to ClutchPoints NBA insider Brett Siegel, the Mavericks forward has been drawing interest from teams and might even be obtained via a first-round asset.
"New York is one of many teams to also express interest in trading for Dallas Mavericks wing Naji Marshall, sources said. Due to the lack of wing talent on the trade market this season and the demand for such players increasing, Marshall is expected to drive a significant market, with some league personnel suggesting Dallas may be able to fetch a first-round pick when all is said and done," Siegel wrote.
Marshall is playing the best basketball of his NBA career this 2025-26, averaging a career-high 14.7 points in 54.5 percent shooting with 4.9 boards and 3.0 assists.
He originally joined the Mavs via a three-year, $27 million contract in 2024 after four seasons of play in the New Orleans Pelicans.
Given his 3-and-D tendencies, the Knicks will definitely face challenges in pursuing Marshall. And depending if they'll continue to contend or not, the Mavs will certainly make the most out of the increased value around the veteran forward.
From being a suitor of Marshall, the Knicks are also a noted seller as they are exploring a Guesrchon Yabusele trade. The San Antonio Spurs recently emerged as the latest potential team for the embattled French big man.
