Michael Carrick recorded another win as Manchester United head coach, and this might be his best yet.
In 2021, Michael Carrick took over at Manchester United as caretaker boss for three games. He won two and drew the other.
Carrick’s final match was a 3-2 win at home to Arsenal, and now in 2026 he has coached Manchester United to another 3-2 win over the Gunners.
This latest 3-2 win might be even better, with United winning away from home against Mikel Arteta’s league leading side.
United’s victory was a crushing one for Arsenal, who have now seen their lead at the top of the Premier League slip to just four points.
The win moves United up into fourth place, capping a special day for Carrick, and his family.
