Steven Pressley accused Luke Graham’s agent of playing games with his future - and insists only a big offer will get him out of Dens Park, writes **_Scott McDermott._**
The Dundee gaffer heaped praise on the 21-year-old centre-back after their 3-0 defeat to Rangers at Ibrox.
Graham has been outstanding for the Dark Blues this season and is attracting interest from England.
He’s already been linked with Championship side QPR but Pressley is adamant he wants the defender to stay on Tayside.
The Dundee boss wants new players IN before the transfer window shuts, rather than lose one of his best.
Pressley said: “We probably need to add another couple of new faces to the team.
“Obviously, we've had some not-so-good news around the injury front with the likes of Clark Robertson, who could be out for up to six weeks, and Billy Koumetio, who could be anything from eight weeks to 12 weeks.
“They are two huge players for ourselves so that's a real blow.
“We have to make sure that we're not short in these areas.
“Does that make it more important to keep Luke? I think so.
“I was informed of some speculation around a bid from QPR.
“I'll be honest with everyone, it's news to us.
“We have a situation where the agent of the player is playing a game, and it's not needed at this moment in time.
“The one thing that I'll say is you've seen a player today and it's not affecting his performance.
“Luke is playing at the absolute top of his game just now and it would take a really high offer to prise him away from us.”
