Here is a roundup of the top Liverpool news, gossip and transfer latest from icfootballnews featuring the likes of Kostas Tsimikas, Anis Hadj Moussa and Joe Gomez that you may have missed…
Feyenoord general manager Dennis te Kloese has opened up and told the likes of Chelsea that they may be an opportunity to sign Anis Hadj Moussa at the end of the season, as the player wants to make a move away from the Dutch Giants.
The 23-year-old was selected by Algeria on the back of an outstanding start to the club season with Feyenoord, in which he notched seven goals and three assists in his opening 23 appearances.
Moussa then caught the eye with a string of impressive cameo performances at this year’s Africa Cup of Nations before Algeria were eliminated from the competition at the hands of Nigeria, but there has been speculation that he is a player that LIVERPOOL could make a move for this month.
The Dutch giants do not want to let one of the clubs star players leave the club at this stage of the season, but he has hinted that Feyenoord’s stance could change in the summer, as the attacker may want to leave.
‘It’s no secret that he wants to make a move,’ he said. But it’s also no secret that we’re trying to get our best interests out of it.’

It seems that most transfer windows, LIVERPOOL are linked with some of the most exciting talents in the game, linked with stars that rival clubs really wants to sign and players that may not make a difference to the current squad.
This Liverpool side is full of potential, full of talents and have a massive squad, adding someone like Anis Hadj Moussa to the side would not really benefit the side, he is a player that the club do not need.
If LIVERPOOL do make signings, it will surely be to improve that defence because the attack is stocked.
TSIMIKAS GREEN LIGHT
Liverpool have been given the green light to bring left-back Kostas Tsimikas back to Anfield, according to Fabrizio Romano as the Reds need back-up if Andy Robertson completes his move to Tottenham.
Over the past few days, news has broken that LIVERPOOL and Tottenham are in talks over a transfer deal for Robertson, who is open to leaving the Reds in order to get some much needed game time.
Robertson himself has had to make do with being backup to Milos Kerkez this term after the summer signing firmly established himself as the clubs number one left-back under Slot with some impressive performances.
And With Andrew Robertson possibly set to move to Tottenham, LIVERPOOL have made the decision to bring back Tsimikas, who previously playing understudy to the Scotland international at Anfield under Jurgen Klopp for so many years.
And now Romano has claimed that Roma have given the green light for the defender to make the move back – Romano posted: “Understand AS Roma have already given green light to Kostas Tsimikas return to Liverpool if Robertson joins Spurs. It’s almost over between Tsimikas and Roma with#LFC ready to welcome the left back again. No recall clause but club to club contact, as@JacobsBen reports.”

First of all, it is a massive shock to see that Robertson could leave Liverpool this month for Tottenham, he is a solid enough player to keep in the squad until at least the summer window.
Many Tottenham fans will also be wondering why the club are trying to sign a player that is on a downward spiral and not any better than what the club already has. But if LIVERPOOL can get a few quid out of the sale, it makes sense.
It is just a shock to see this transfer deal happen that is for sure.
JOE GOMEZ WANTED
Liverpool defender Joe Gomez is a target for AC Milan and the Rossoneri are holding out hope that the Reds will allow a last-minute deal to happen this January transfer window, it has been claimed
Gomez is considering his future at LIVERPOOL , mulling over whether now is the right time to take on a new challenge where he will receive more regular first-team opportunities.
Gomez has had to bide his time this season in order to get game time that he has worked hard for, and there has been much talk that Arne Slot is already planning summer moves for the likes of Tottenham star Micky Van De ven.
And asper Calciomercato. The 28-year-old is said to be a figure that appeals to manager Massimiliano Allegri with reports suggesting that the Italian are hoping that a transfer deal can happen this January.
Milan are chasing a new central defender but could yet persist with Koni De Winter after being impressed by his progress. The Serie A giants’ interest in Gomez is longstanding, however, as they look to improve their backline.

It has come as a shock to see that Gomez is a player that Slot does not want at the club – but it will be interesting to see how this all plays out and if he will get a move away from LIVERPOOL as the window closes in just a few weeks time.
However – with the fact that Liverpool are not doing much transfer business this January, it is much more likely that Gomez is allowed to go at the end of the season when he is needed far less.
But if he does move to Italy, it could be a great experience for the man and one that he will surely not turn down?
