Despite Alejandro Garnacho only joining Chelsea in the summer, Alejandro Garnacho is already being linked with a move away from the club.
Reports from Spain suggest that Atlético Madrid want to take him on loan for the rest of the season, having already held talks with the left-sided winger. And it means that Garnacho would be playing under fellow Argentine Diego Simeone.
Simeone is reported to be a fan of his dribbling ability and the intensity he offers, both on and off the ball.
Garnacho has failed to settle at Stamford Bridge, and has failed to get the first-team minutes he wanted, although he did score both goals for the club in the first-leg of their EFL Cup semi-final against Arsenal.
And he is concerned that his lack of activity could cost him a place in the Argentina World Cup squad this summer, and is keen to take on a new challenge in La Liga.
