Real Madrid mega flop Trent Alexander-Arnold could be set for a stunning return to the Premier League very soon.
Alexander-Arnold, 27, left Liverpool in the summer to link up with the Spanish giants - but his time in Madrid has been far from a fantasy with the full-back struggling to establish himself in the first team. And reports have suggested he could on his way out.
Some report suggest boss Alvaro Arbeloa has told Alexander-Arnold to leave the club. However, outlets in Spain are reporting there has been conversations between the pair and Arbeola has given Trent his full support.

Manchester City are said to be monitoring the situation, according to TEAMTalk. City are said to be in the market for a new right-back, and they are assessing the situation.
However, there has been no formal approach from Pep Guardiola's side. The report adds that Trent is detemrined to stay and fight for his place in Spain.
And he is still tied down to a long-term deal at the Bernabeu.
City haven't been afraid to splash the cash under new sporting director Hugo Viana - who is already celebrating successful January pursuits of Marc Guehi and Antoine Semenyo.

Any potential deal for Alexander-Arnold, however, would have to wait for the summer. It could be a busy summer at the Etihad Stadium, with not just Guardiola's future up in the air.
Several established names are facing uncertain futures – including John Stones and Bernardo Silva - and facing a squad refresh, a right-back is firmly on the agenda.
City got back to winning ways over the weekend, beating rock-bottom Wolves 2-0, with Arsenal dropping points against Manchester United, to close the gap at the top of the Premier League table to four points.
