Club are now furious with Chelsea for transfer decision, could effect future deals

A club is now apparently furious with Chelsea after they made a strange transfer decision this weekend that was reported last night.

Basically, Chelsea made a decision to recall centre back Aaron Anselmino from his loan spell at Dortmund yesterday. The youngster was supposed to be on a season long loan deal, but Chelsea used an option to cancel the loan and bring him back early.

EXCLUSIVE! The inside story around Cole Palmer and his Chelsea future being in doubt!!

It’s unclear what the plans are yet with Anselmino, whether he is going to another club on loan or staying in the Chelsea first team squad – time will tell. But either way, he’s back at Chelsea for now.

Some believe that because Chelsea have not managed to yet get a deal done to sign Jeremy Jacquet from Rennes, that this is why they have recalled Anselmino from Dortmund. So who knows what is going down here. Either way though, they’ve annoyed Dortmund!

A report from BILD in Germany, as cited and translated by Sport Witness, claims that Chelsea recalling Aaron Anselmino is an ‘unusual’ decision and it ‘shakes the football world’. The decision hasn’t gone down well in Germany and has ’caused considerable astonishment internally’ at Dortmund. Dortmund are furious with Chelsea.

Will it effect future deals?

There is every chance now that this might damage the relationship between the two clubs and I guess it’s reasonable to believe that it may well also effect future deals between them.

I’m sure Dortmund will get over it eventually though and they will be happy to deal with Chelsea again down the line, especially if they want to sign a Blues player to improve what they have.
