According to the bookmakers, Arne Slot's tenure at Liverpool is hanging by a thread, as he's been tipped as the favorite to vacate his position following the Reds' 10th loss of the season across all competitions.
Slot, who took over from Jurgen Klopp and steered Liverpool to Premier League glory last season, has struggled to replicate that success this term. His squad, hampered by injuries, has failed to live up to expectations, with the former Feyenoord manager left exasperated after a last-gasp 3-2 defeat to Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium, despite clawing back from a 2-0 half-time deficit.
Following a dismal start to the season, which saw Liverpool secure just three victories in 12 matches across all competitions from September to November, Slot managed to spark a 13-match unbeaten streak.
However, draws against Sunderland, Fulham, Burnley and Leeds (twice) during this run have done little to sway the bookies, who have him pegged as an 8/13 favorite to be fired.
William Hill spokesperson Lee Phelps commented: "With Liverpool winless in five Premier League matches, pressure is mounting on manager Arne Slot.
"The loss to Bournemouth could well be the straw that breaks the camel's back, and it has caused a seismic shift in our sack (fired) race betting, as Slot has been cut to 8/13 favorite from 12/1 to be the next manager to leave.

"Thomas Frank is another manager who could soon be on his way out, with the current Spurs boss in at 2/1 second favorite.
"Oliver Glasner is further back at 7/1, ahead of Pep Guardiola and Sean Dyche at 20/1."
The Reds have slipped from fourth to sixth in the table after failing to secure a win in their last five Premier League matches.
With fixtures against Newcastle, Man City and Sunderland up next, followed by encounters with three of the bottom four clubs - Nottingham Forest, West Ham and Wolves - in February and March, it's a crucial period.
Currently sitting 14 points adrift of the top spot, the Reds are realistically eyeing a top-four finish once again. They'll be keen to overturn the two-point lead that Manchester United currently holds over them as the season unfolds.
Sack Race Odds
Arne Slot - 8/13
Thomas Frank - 2/1
Oliver Glasner - 7/1
Pep Guardiola - 20/1
Sean Dyche - 20/1
BAR - 28/1
