Wolves reportedly paid a fee of around €11.5m (£10m) potentially rising to just shy of €14m (£12.1m) to sign Wolfe from AZ Alkmaar during the summer transfer window.
The 23-year-old has struggled to nail down a place in Wolves’s starting line-up since then, though, and has played for just three minutes across the last five Premier League matches, remaining as an unused substitute for the last three.
Roma are on the lookout for a new left-sided wing-back to replace Kostas Tsimikas, who seems increasingly likely to return to Liverpool after an underwhelming loan spell in the Italian capital in 2025-26.

Roma directorRicky Massara confirmed on Sunday that “we are in a dialogue with Liverpool” over a potential termination of Tsimikas’s loan deal, and that “we’ll see how that evolves over the next few days.”
