Manchester United stunned Premier League leaders Arsenal at their own ground to continue Michael Carrick’s perfect start as interim head coach.
Michael Carrick could not have had two tougher fixtures to start his interim spell at Manchester United, but he has emerged on the other side with six points.
Sunday’s 3-2 win over Arsenal lifted United up to fourth in the Premier League table. Considering Carrick is tasked with qualifying for the Champions League, he has wasted no time getting the Red Devils in a strong position.

Senne Lammens praised for ‘absolutely brilliant’ moment vs Arsenal
United may have conceded twice against Arsenal, but Senne Lammens was still outstanding in North London.
MUTV pundit David May was full of praise for the Belgian shot-stopper for his early close-range save from an Arsenal free-kick.

Senne Lammens dealt with Arsenal set-pieces
Heading into Sunday’s match, it was made clear that it was the Premier League’s two best set-piece sides going head-to-head.
Mikel Merino did score from a scrappy Arsenal corner to draw United level, but Lammens can take pride from his performance against a very physical Gunners side.

Former Premier League referee Mark Clattenburg wants Arsenal punished for their corner tactics, claiming that the PGMOL need to take action to stop goalkeepers being blocked.
Arsenal players flooded Lammens in the six-yard box at every opportunity, but the 23-year-old still managed to claim several crosses and punch the ball away on a few occasions.
