Liverpool defender Wellity Lucky has been ruled out for at least two months due to a hamstring injury, according to The Athletic's James Pearce.
Lucky hasn't been heavily involved for the senior side this season, but has frequently been involved in training with Arne Slot's team. The youngster made his debut for the first team back in October, playing against Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup, while he's also been on the bench five times in the Premier League.
Liverpool's options at the back are now running seriously low, with Joe Gomez forced off against Bournemouth last time out. Ibrahima Konate has also been unavailable of late, due to being on compassionate leave, while Giovanni Leoni was ruled out for the remainder of the campaign back in 2025.
Liverpool Suffer Another Defensive Blow

According to The Athletic's Pearce, Lucky has been ruled out for at least two months, with Liverpool's defensive resources being further depleted at Anfield. The 20-year-old has suffered a hamstring injury, which has seen him miss Liverpool's last two U21 matches.
Liverpool's lack of defensive options has forced their hand in the transfer market, with reports now claiming that they've pulled the plug on a deal which would have seen Andy Robertson make the move to Tottenham Hotspur.
