The Los Angeles Lakers are struggling to find a 3-and-D wing to improve their defense and athleticism, yet big men are reportedly eager to join the team just to play alongside Luka Doncic.

They are searching for a 3-and-D wing but have not had much luck so far.
On the Hoop Collective Podcast, ESPN's Tim McMahon noted that the Lakers could have an easier time attracting big men, thanks to the allure of playing alongside Luka Doncic.
"They have the fact they're the Los Angeles Lakers, and I can just tell you, big men will do back flips to be able to be in that Lakers uniform paired with Luka," McMahon said.
"I was talking to an agent who's got a big man who may or may not be on the move, and he would love to get his guy in L.A. Big men are going to want to play with Luka that much, I can assure you."
Last summer, the Lakers added starting center Deandre Ayton, but they now face challenges with athleticism and defense on the wings.
