Crystal Palace are one of several Premier League sides reported to be interest in Fulham winger Harry Wilson come the summer.
Fulham are expected to complete the signing of Manchester City winger Oscar Bobb this month as the club prepares to potentially face life without the services of Harry Wilson.
The Welshman is expected to remain at Craven Cottage for the rest of the 2025/26 campaign but is out of contract come the end of the season. Wilson is yet to put pen to paper on a new deal with the BBC reporting that talks have now been put on hold.
It’s claimed that Wilson is wanting more clarity over his potential role in Marco Silva’s squad. The forward had failed to cement a starting role in the XI until a remarkable run of form this season.
Fulham set to complete £40m transfer for Oscar Bobb
The 28-year-old has plundered eight goals and five assists since the start of November and is one of the Premier League’s in-form players. Fulham appear to be preparing for the player to leave, with up to £40 million to be splurged on Bobb.
In an update on Monday, Sky Sports transfer specialist Florian Plettenberg wrote: “Understand Oscar #Bobb and Fulham have reached a full verbal agreement. Final details with Man City remain to be sorted. The move is expected to be a permanent deal. Transfer fee in the region of £35–40m. DONE DEAL soon.”
Crystal Palace and Leeds United handed Harry Wilson boost
Fulham boss Silva has been adamant that the club will not sell Wilson this month but the BBC speculated that, should a deal for Bobb be completed, that stance could change. News of Bobb’s imminent Fulham move therefore comes as a boost to suitors of Wilson.
CaughtOffside names Crystal Palace and Leeds United as two sides looking at the winger. The Eagles are still in the market for attacking impetus after the arrival of Brennan Johnson from Spurs and the Whites were linked with Wilson last summer.
The outlet suggests that Brentford, Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest are all ‘closely monitoring’ the situation. The January transfer window presents Fulham with the last chance of earning a transfer fee for Wilson before his contract expires in the summer.
