NBA champion hit with severe backlash after getting brutally honest on Giannis…

There is one clear topic that has dominated conversations about theMilwaukee Bucks in the 2025-26 NBA season, and it’s none other than the uncertainfuture of superstar power forward Giannis Antetokounmpo on the team.

As the NBA trade deadline draws near, rumors about the possibility of Antetokounmpo getting sent somewhere else by the only team he’s played for so far since entering the league over a decade ago as a first-round pick by Milwaukee in the 2013 NBA Draft has intensified.

It continues to be a major topic in and around the NBA, so it’s easy to get tired of it.

Former NBA champion and current ESPN personality Kendrick Perkins appears to have had enough of it as well.

“At this point I got Giannis and Bucks fatigue, I’m tired of talking about them,” the 41-year-old Perkinssaid on Monday.

Unfortunately for Perkins, who won an NBA title with the Boston Celtics in 2008 — then coached by Bucks current head coach Doc Rivers — his job is going to make it impossible to tune out the noise about Antetokounmpo and Milwaukee.

Fans rips Perkins for take on Bucks-Antetokounmpo rumors

Meanwhile, fans on social media did not like what Perkins said, in large part because they felt like he could just stop talking about the subject altogether.

“then sybau @KendrickPerkins,” said a fan on X.

Another one said: “Trust me, we are sick of you guys talking about them too. Giannis isnt leaving. Drop the narrative.”

From a commenter: “Im tired of listening [to] you”

“Maybe the idea of having daily nba show wasn’t the best idea.,” a social media user posted.

Via a different commenter: “And we’re tired of listening to you talk.”

Said another: “Then stop talking about them”
