Axel Disasi’s Chelsea nightmare could soon be over as West Ham United are trying their best to prise him away from Stamford Bridge.
It was Enzo Maresca who reduced Axel Disasi to the bomb squad during his time at Chelsea, and he’s only just escaped after Liam Rosenior’s appointment.
However, it’s clear that Disasi has no future at Chelsea, with Aaron Anselmino and a centre-back signing pointing towards him being surplus still.

Leeds United have been in talks over Disasi, whilst Tottenham are said to have been offered the defender’s services, yet his future is no clearer at this stage.
But, now it looks as if there’s another team in the battle.
West Ham seek a loan move for Axel Disasi
According to L’Equipe, West Ham have positioned themselves in recent days and have started discussions with their London neighbours.
However, Chelsea‘s number of international loans, limited to seven, should once again have an impact on the possible destination of the defender, who is under contract until 2029.
It’s stated that a loan looks likely, rather than a permanent deal.
This may disappoint some Chelsea fans, who are desperate to get the defender off the books.

There’s no way back for Disasi at Chelsea
The Blues will have Trevoh Chalobah, Levi Colwill, Aaron Anselmino, Mamadou Sarr, Tosin Adarabioyo, Wesley Fofana and Benoit Badiashille as the options come the summer.
Disasi has been involved in training recently for Chelsea, so if he had done enough to impress Rosenior, then we wouldn’t see Anselmino heading back from Borussia Dortmund.
Chelsea are down to five centre-backs right now, but the potential addition of Jeremy Jacquet would tip that to six, and the profile is generally of younger players.
Even at just 27, Disasi is the second oldest of those options.
