Luka Doncic backed up his locker-room trash talk by reminding everyone that he pulled off a between-the-legs dunk at 13, as Jaxson Hayes' flashy East Bay slam sparked debate after the Lakers' 129-118 win over the Bulls.
Los Angeles Lakers center Jaxson Hayes delivered a wild between-the-legs fastbreak dunk on Monday as the Lakers defeated the Chicago Bulls 129–118, securing back-to-back wins.
The play sparked some debate afterward in the Lakers locker room.
Wing Jake LaRavia downplayed the dunk, saying, "He [Hayes] didn't get that high … The only player that does it in the league is Obi Toppin."
Luka Doncic, meanwhile, quickly chimed in off camera: "I did it when I was a teen. I have a video!"
And yes -- he wasn't lying. There's footage of a 13-year-old Doncic throwing down the East Bay Funk Dunk.
In the latest win, Luka had 46 points, seven rebounds, and 11 assists over 38 minutes. The Lakers are now 28-17 on the season.
