Ife Ibrahim has signed his first professional contract, as reported by the club’s official website.

The midfielder, 18, has established himself as a key figure in Arsenal’s U21 team this season despite still being eligible to feature at U18 level.

Ibrahim, who progressed through the ranks at Hale End, is excellent at breaking up play and distributing short, snappy passes to his team-mates.

An England U18 international, Ibrahim has made nine appearances in Premier League 2 this season and has also featured in the EFL Trophy and the UEFA Youth League.

He travelled with the first-team for their La Manga training camp last year and will be targeting further involvement with the senior squad.

Ibrahim joins Andre Harriman-Annous, Theo Julienne, Ceadach O’Neill, Jack Porter, Khari Ranson and Louis Zecevic John in having signed professional terms from the 2024 intake of scholars.

The players yet to sign a professional deal from that group are Sam Chapman, Alex Marciniak, Josh Ogunnaike and Samuel Onyekachukwu.
