Liam Rosenior’s Chelsea side delivered the best performance of the new manager’s reign at the weekend when they beat Crystal Palace 3-1.
The new boss has four wins in his first five games at the club, with the away fans at Selhurst Park singing Rosenior’s name in response to his strong start.
A lot of the credit went to the attackers for the victory. Estevao’s record-breaking performance delivered a goal and an assist, while Joao Pedro starred in the striker position.

However, the defensive players also deserve their praise, with the best compliment being how frustrated Robert Sanchez was at losing his clean sheet.

John Terry praises underrated Trevoh Chalobah after Chelsea’s win vs Crystal Palace
There should also be praise for Trevoh Chalobah. He was part of a central-defensive duo who did a job on dangerous Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta.
John Terry has been quick to point out how important the England international was for their second goal, stating on his TikTok how he got everything started in the build-up for Pedro’s strike.
He said: “I spoke yesterday on the importance and the great work from Trevoh for our second goal. Real simple, basic defending, but I think he’s been so good over the last two or three years.
“Look at his distances the whole way. His distances are absolutely perfect, and what I love about this clip more importantly, he keeps Mateta on the outside of him always. As a defender, you never wanna be too far on the outside and let the defender roll inside. Trev’s got him.
“Manages to just nick the ball from him, but what I love about this after. Touch out your feet, finds that great ball forward, and then we get the magic. What a ball this is from Estevao, forward runners with Enzo, and a great bit of magic from Joao Pedro.
“That all starts from Trevoh, and no one really notices that.”

It has been reported that Rosenior has already been won over by Chalobah, and looks set to play a crucial role this season.
Wesley Fofana has not seen minutes come easily under the new manager, with Benoit Badiashile being given plenty of opportunities.
The must-win Champions League game against Napoli will be a great indicator as to who Rosenior sees as his starting duo, although Chalobah looks a certainty to be in there.
