Riccardo Calafiori has been pictured in Arsenal training ahead of Wednesday's Champions League clash with Kairat Almaty.
The Italian defender was spotted at training with his Gunners team-mates on Tuesday morning at Sobha Realty Training Centre. The defender has not featured since pulling up in the warm-up against Brighton on December 27.
The 23-year-old did not make the squad at the weekend for the 3-2 defeat to Manchester United despite Mikel Arteta hinting that the former Bologna man was close to returning.
Kairat Almaty make the trip from Kazakhstan to Emirates Stadium on Wednesday for the final league phase game of the 2025/26 season. Arteta's side are currently top of the league phase table and know at least a point will cement their position in first place.
Kai Havertz was also pictured in training ahead of Wednesday's clash, although Jurrien Timber, William Saliba, Mikel Merino and Max Dowman were not present. Timber, Saliba and Merino all featured in the loss to Manchester United at the weekend and the reason why they missed Tuesday's session is unclear at this stage.
Dowman, meanwhile, has been out since December with an ankle injury and is not expected to return until next month.
