Manchester United expect Patrick Dorgu to miss several weeks after picking up a hamstring injury against Arsenal.
The 21-year-old scored Man United’s second goal with a strike from the edge of the box last weekend but was forced off late in the game.
Interim head coach Michael Carrick initially hoped the issue was cramp, and told the media as such, but it is now understood to be more serious.

According to reports, the Denmark international is still undergoing assessment, with no firm return date yet confirmed - but he will miss the next few weeks at the very least.
Dorgu has been one of Man United’s standout performers this season following his move from Lecce 12 months ago. Used in a more advanced role on the left under Carrick, he has impressed in recent weeks and also found the net in the win over Manchester City.
Man United face eight Premier League matches before the March international break, when Dorgu is expected to be involved with Denmark in the World Cup play-offs.
His absence could open the door for Matheus Cunha, who has started the last two league games on the bench but came on to score the winning goal against Arsenal.
