John Terry explains Robert Sanchez trait which wins Premier League titles during win vs Crystal Palace

Liam Rosenior delivered the best performance of his time as Chelsea manager when the Blues beat Crystal Palace 3-1 at the weekend at Selhurst Park.

Despite Cole Palmer not being available for selection, they excelled in attack thanks to brilliance of Estevao Willian and Joao Pedro in front of goal.

Even though the frontline stole the headlines, there should be credit for the defensive performance put in. Trevoh Chalobah received praise for his performance up against the dangerous Jean-Philippe Mateta.

There was a slight air of disappointment that Chelsea had not delivered a clean sheet to go with their dominant performance, even after Palace had been reduced to 10 men.

Robert Sanchez was notably fuming at Enzo Fernandez for not helping him deal with the messy set-piece situation, but club legend John Terry doesn’t see this as an issue going forwards.

In fact, the Englishman took to his TikTok to state that he is a fan of these kinds of reactions, even stating that they are the foundations to sides who go on and win the Premier League.

He said: “I also just want to talk Rob Sanchez as well. 87th minute, just watch the frustration of Robert Sanchez and the players around him after conceding so late in the game, on the verge of a clean sheet and winning the game 3-0.

“Makes a great first save from the corner, gets himself up, unfortunately doesn’t get the second, but this is what I wanna see from my players and our football team now, and in the future.

“Frustration, disappointment in the group. Absolutely love that. He made a great save early on from Mateta. This frustration is what we build relationships on and also what Premier League title sides, who don’t concede many goals, and this kind of attitude will certainly set you up.”

Sanchez enjoying great moment at Chelsea

After the unfortunate injury for Filip Jorgensen in the Champions League against Pafos, it looks as if the Spaniard has nailed down the number one spot for the time being.

However, he has more than earned this after putting together a brilliant 12 months where nearly all major errors have been eliminated from his game.

Pedro was particularly complimentary of Sanchez’s performance against Palace, and perhaps more importantly has made a mark on his new manager too.

Rosenior has tipped Sanchez to reach ‘scary’ levels at Stamford Bridge, suggesting he has the full confidence of the man in charge.
