Sky Sports reporter provides new Cole Palmer update amid questions over his future

Cole Palmer is happy at Chelsea and is considered “untouchable” according to Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol.

The 23-year-old joined Chelsea from Manchester City in the summer of 2023 in a deal worth around £40m, and has made a huge impact at Stamford Bridge.

Palmer has scored 48 goals and registered 29 assists in 110 appearances for Chelsea, and has won both the Conference League and Club World Cup during his time in west London.

Palmer missed the majority of the first half of the season with a groin injury, but returned in December, although he’s struggled for form.

He’s missed Chelsea’s last two games against Pafos and Crystal Palace, but has been in training ahead of Chelsea’s Champions League game against Napoli on Wednesday.

There have been reports linking the former Manchester City man with a move to Manchester United, but the England international is under contract until 2033.

Liam Rosenior has said he’s spoken to Palmer and insisted he was happy at the club, and Solhekol has now provided an update.

He took to X.com and said:

“Cole Palmer is untouchable and happy at Chelsea.

“He is contracted until 2033 and a key player for the future of the club.”

It’s been reported Palmer is part of a new group of “untouchables” at Chelsea along with club captain Reece James and Moises Caicedo.
