Immediately after the match, footage emerged online of Arsenal and Man Utd players involved in a scuffle, with the towering defenders at the centre of it. It was unclear at the time what exactly had happened, but new footage has cast light on the situation.
A newly released video, which comes from Malaysian broadcaster Stadium Astro, shows Maguire offering a handshake but the Brazilian knocking his hand away. This led to cross words being exchanged, and the Englishman even pushed his opponent in the chest.
Lammens stepped in before anything could escalate, but the Arsenal defender was visibly angered. It may have just been as a result of his side losing an important game, but there was also a collision between the two men on the pitch.
With the hosts chasing the game in the dying moments, Maguire wrestled Gabriel off the ball, winning the battle of two heavyweights. That may have played into Gabriel's frustrations with the ex-Leicester City man.
