The best possible line-up Chelsea can pick vs Napoli as Estevao Willian starts and £29m man returns

Liam Rosenior is currently preparing for easily the biggest test of his career at Chelsea when he takes charge of his second Champions League game against Napoli.

Going up against former Blues boss Antonio Conte, Rosenior will know that a win will almost certainly be enough to secure a place in the top eight, skipping the play-off stage.

There is an argument that Chelsea would be better off not beating Napoli, potentially setting them up for an extended run in the competition that avoids Arsenal and Bayern Munich.

Antonio Conte loves the new Chelsea owners 😬

Do they come anywhere near close to Roman Abramovich?

This won’t be on the manager’s mind though, and instead he will be thinking maintaining form is the most important thing from now after an impressive 3-1 win vs Crystal Palace.

The Chelsea Chronicle have named the best side Rosenior can name that will get the job done in Naples, and secure a top eight finish from a turbulent Champions League campaign.

Chelsea’s best XI to face Napoli

Robert Sanchez’s brilliant display against Palace as well as an injury to Filip Jorgensen will see the Spaniard start between the sticks against Napoli.

At right-back, Malo Gusto will return to the starting side after being a substitute against Palace.

A top performance from Trevoh Chalobah will have really impressed his manager, and will see him retain his place in the starting side.

Despite Benoit Badiashile doing his chances no harm at the weekend, there will be a return to the starting side for Wesley Fofana.

Marc Cucurella will keep his place at left-back. He made a particular impact in the attacking third on Sunday.

Reece James will start, but back in the heart of midfield despite impressing in his natural position of right-back in the previous outing.

Alongside him will be Moises Caicedo. The duo are proving to be must-starts alongside each other for the big games for Chelsea.

Ahead of those two, Enzo Fernandez will start. The World Cup winner is proving to be one of Rosenior’s favourite players since he took over.

Estevao and Joao Pedro combine for 2-0!

Is there a world where Chelsea are actually better without Cole Palmer?

There will be a return to the starting side for Cole Palmer, after the England international missed the game against Palace due to a minor injury.

An excellent display away from home at the weekend will see Estevao Willian start. He has enjoyed a very strong Champions League campaign so far.

Up front, Joao Pedro will be given the nod ahead of Liam Delap. The Brazilian is the new striker who is in the best form right now.
