New footage has been released showing Arsenal star Gabriel Magalhaes refusing to shake Harry Maguire's hand after Manchester United's win on Sunday. United pulled off a stunning 3-2 victory at the Emirates, with Matheus Cunha's 87th-minute goal giving the visitors all three points while denting Arsenal's Premier League title hopes.

In the closing stages, Maguire and Gabriel clashed, and the Arsenal defender ended up on the floor. After referee Craig Pawson blew his whistle for full-time, the pair were at it again.

But footage released by Malaysian broadcaster Stadium Astro shows Gabriel refusing to shake Maguire's hand when the United centre-back offered a truce. Maguire's team-mate, Noussair Mazraoui, can be seen noticing the commotion and walking over.

Mazraoui then pushes Gabriel, who was shouting at Maguire, in the chest, aggravating him more. United goalkeeper Senne Lammens proceeds to step in and holds Gabriel back, ushering him towards the tunnel.

Maguire could then enjoy the dramatic win while Gabriel went to lick his wounds. "It was absolutely massive," the United star told Sky Sports.

"We know that the first game [under Michael Carrick], the [Manchester] derby at Old Trafford, you're always up for them, and you know that one-off results can happen, so we had to back it up today.

"We spoke about it before the game, coming to the league leaders, who have been excellent this year, I must say, they ask a lot of questions of you, to come here and have the setback late on to get the winner, it was a magnificent performance."

Maguire's individual display earned him player of the match and plenty of plaudits. England legend Gary Lineker has described the £80million man as 'one of the most underrated players in football'.

"I know people have a pop at him, even people in the game have a pop at him, and I know that he can be turned by a striker with pace, but he makes up for it to a degree with his intelligence," Lineker said on The Rest Is Football podcast.

"He can play as well, he's good on the ball and he's never let England down when he's played for his country. I would also say he's bloody brilliant in both boxes from set-pieces. There is an obvious weakness with the slight lack of pack but he's got the experience to handle that."
