According to Joe Vardon and Sam Amick of The Athletic, both sides agreed to a multiyear contract extension. The full details of the deal were not disclosed, but it is believed that the new contract extends their partnership to four years.
Frank has been the Clippers' president of basketball operations since 2017. Upon his arrival, the franchise made it to six postseason appearances and reached its first-ever Conference Finals appearance in 2021.
He was also crucial for the landing of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George in the 2019 free agency and pulling a key trade in 2023 to bring James Harden to LA.
Since Frank sent former franchise superstar and future Hall of Famer Chris Paul home, the Clippers (21-24) have already won 15 of 18 games and delivered a fascinating turnaround after a rough season start.
