Two others can stake a claim for that label as well, and they are two new stars who Szoboszlai is getting to know more and more.

Liverpool’s summer signings have hit form at different times this season.
Hugo Ekitike was on a heater from the first game, while Florian Wirtz took a bit more time to adjust to life in England.
Now, the pair are Liverpool’s go-to attacking options who, along with Szoboszlai, tend to be involved in the good things that happen in attack.

He said: “They came because they have quality, both of them. You mentioned Flo and Hugo, but they understand the game as well in the same way that I do, and we just love to play with each other. And I think if you play football, you have to enjoy it. And you enjoy it if it’s nice, if you’re free, and if you can do what you love to do.
“And especially these two came from the Bundesliga. I think they realised also it’s not the same. We talked about this many times, but yeah, I think they are getting the minutes, so they’re going be better physically. And yeah, we are getting more connected to each other.”
Creativity from open play has been a problem for Liverpool, but it could be that this young, dynamic trio can fix things if they continue to develop together.

When Wirtz came to Liverpool, he was looked at by some as an upgrade on Szoboszlai.
But the more we watch, the more it feels like Szoboszlai and Wirtz have to start together.

They are brilliant in very different ways, but their games complement each other.
