Arsenal are yet to make any signings in the January transfer window, with just five days left to go.

It is understood that Arsenal aren’t going to make any major signings, but a reliable Arsenal Journalist has confirmed there are two names they could target before the deadline.
Arsenal could sign Real Madrid star before the end of January
The Athletic’s Arsenal correspondent James McNichols wrote about the Gunners in this week’s TransferDealsheet. He outlined two players that Arteta could see come through the door before the end of the January window.
Firstly, McNichols said that Arsenal remain interested in 20-year-old Real Madrid defender Victor Valdepenas. It is understood that the Gunners have been monitoring Valdepenas alongside several top European clubs.
However, he does report that Real Madrid are determined to keep hold of their younger players, so it could be unlikely that Arsenal or any other club land the Spaniard until the summer transfer window.
The Gunners are monitoring Brazil wonderkid Belinho
Alongside Valdepenas, McNichols also said that the Gunners are considering a move for 17-year-old forward Rafael Belinho.
He is currently playing for Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb, and has attracted the attention of several top European clubs, including La Liga leaders Barcelona.
It has been said that the attacker will be eligible to join a Premier League team when he turns 18, which will be next January, but there is a chance that Arsenal could agree a premature deal to sign him this month.
