Marc Guehi and Antoine Semenyo can't play for Man City in the Champions League yet | Manchester City FC
Man City face Galatasaray in their crucial Champions League tie on Wednesday night.
Pep Guardiola's side realistically must win tonight to have any chance of securing an automatic place in the last-16 of the competition, but will also need a goal difference swing in their favour. City are one of eight teams locked on 13 points, three of whom already occupy qualification positions.
City have decided to recall Erling Haaland to the line up after he was named on the bench for the weekend win over Wolves, but Phil Foden remains on the bench. Rayan Ait-Nouri has been selected in one of the full-back roles, with Nico O'Reilly also selected to start along with Matheus Nunes.

Why Guehi and Semenyo can't play for Man City tonight
Man City are unable to select either Marc Guehi or Antoine Semenyo for their Champions League fixture against Galatasaray later tonight. The pair were each signed in the January transfer window and Champions League rules state that players added during the winter window are ineligible for the league phase of the competition.
City had to submit an A-List of players for the first phase of the tournament back in September, with a maximum of 25 players allowed to be registered. The Blues would be allowed to update that list if they reach the knockout stages of the competition, but it means new signings can not feature in their penultimate match against Galatasaray or their final league phase match against Galatasaray next week.
Champions League rules state that any club that qualifies for the knockout round can register a maximum of three new players before 5 February 2026. It means City will be able to add Guehi, Semenyo and another player to their A-List for the remainder of the competition if they wish to do so.
