It's official. Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo is ready to take his talents to a new franchise after senior NBA insider Shams Charania announced the news on Wednesday morning.
Antetokounmpo, 31, is in line join a different team for the first time after spending the past 13 seasons as the Bucks' top priority. Helping Milwaukee win an NBA championship in 2021.
There's going to be a large list of teams and players calling with offers for the forward, who's in line to join a team with a three-year, $175.36 million contract linked to his name.

There are a lot of teams that are expected to be in the mix for Giannis Antetokounmpo. The New York Knicks, Atlanta Hawks, and many others, just to name a few, but the Miami Heat have also been in the conversation.
According to Grant Afseth of the Dallas Hoops Journal, Heat center Bam Adebayo has been having conversations with Antetokounmpo about teaming up together in Miami.
The Heat have shown their interest in the Bucks superstar ever since speculations have been coming out on Antetokounmpo being unhappy in Milwaukee. This has been an ongoing conversation ever since the Bucks were eliminated from the playoffs last spring.
NBA insider Marc Stein mentioned that a deal involving Tyler Herro, Kel'el Ware, and draft picks is the potential offer that Miami would start with.
It's going to get interesting in the days leading up to the NBA trade deadline on Feb. 5, but it appears to be just a matter of time before we know where Giannis Antetokounmpo will be playing.
