Alejandro Garnacho's new face tattoo and what it means
Alejandro Garnacho has secured some new ink as Chelsea aim to secure automatic qualification in the Champions League against Napoli on Wednesday evening. The 21-year-old is available for selection as the Blues take on Antonio Conte's side at 8pm.
As per a translation, the tattoo says 'Valiente', which supposedly stands for brave and courageous. The tattoo has been done in bold red ink and is placed on the side of his head - meaning you definitely can't miss it.
While there is no official total number of Garnacho's tattoo collection, he is renowned for being covered in body art. This includes two full sleeves and now his newest face ink.
In late 2025, the Argentinian got a neck tattoo which reads, 'Nunca es suerte, siempre es Dios.' This translates to 'It’s never luck, it’s always God.'
There are also plenty of entertainment references in his artwork, including anime and manga shows. TV programmes like Prison Break and Stranger Things are also included on Garnacho's body.
Fans will be praying that Garnacho will be on target for Chelsea in their game against Napoli, with the aim being automatic qualification for Liam Rosenior's side. The Blues were in eighth place ahead of kick-off.
Three points against the Italians can hopefully confirm that the London outfit will automatically qualify for the next round in the Champions League. However, a draw or defeat could spell trouble, with clubs like Manchester City, Sporting CP and Barcelona all sitting on the same amount of points (13) and ready to leapfrog Chelsea.
