In their hunt for several serviceable wing players and defenders, HoopsHype NBA insider Michael Scotto revealed that the Lakers are offering Rui Hachimura, Gabe Vincent and Maxi Kleber.
"The Los Angeles Lakers have gauged the trade market looking for 3-and-D wing help, with targets ranging from Herb Jones to Andrew Wiggins to Jonathan Kuminga to Saddiq Bey, etcetera," Scotto wrote.
"With that in mind, the Lakers have dangled the expiring contracts of Rui Hachimura ($18.26 million), Gabe Vincent ($11.5 million), and Maxi Kleber ($11 million) on the trade market, league sources told HoopsHype.
It's been well-known that the Lakers are seeking to add an impactful forward to continue building around Luka Doncic, Austin Reaves and LeBron James.
The trio of Hachimura, Vincent and Kleber indeed have expiring deals, and they will be enticing for several teams who are looking to shed salary cap once the season ends.
As one of the current top teams in the league with title aspirations, the Lakers are determined to fulfill their critical needs ahead of a potential long run this year.
