Liam Rosenior was quick to explain his centre-back decision after the game, too. He put it down to wanting to get off to a fast start and being aggressive, which didn’t quite go to plan.
Trevoh Chalobah sured things up in the second-half, but you have to feel for Jamie Gittens, who was subbed on and then subbed off due to the introduction of Romelu Lukaku.

Romelu Lukaku’s time at Chelsea
Romelu Lukaku’s time at Chelsea will be remembered as one of the most expensive and high-drama reunions in football history.
Originally signed as a teenager in 2011, he later returned for a then-club record £97.5m, only for the move to collapse following a controversial interview where he expressed a desire to return to Inter Milan.
Across both spells, he managed just 15 goals in 59 appearances, eventually being frozen out and spending years on loan at Inter and Roma before Chelsea finally took a massive financial hit to offload him permanently to Napoli.
