Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo’s mother might have just dropped a hint on his trade landing…

The biggest question right now for the Milwaukee Bucks regarding the latest trade news on Giannis Antetokounmpo is where exactly they send their franchise player?

With Antetokounmpo’s time in Milwaukee seemingly nearing its end, speculations about the Bucks’ potential trade partner involving the two-time NBA Most Valuable Player have been in overdrive, and it appears that the future Basketball Hall of Famer’s mother has added to the hype.

Bucks star’s mom adds to the trade rumors

Apparently, Antetokounmpo’s mom has posted a photo showing her son at the Miami Heat’s home court.

It may not mean anything related to the trade news, but the timing of the post and who posted it have surely added to the drama. That is not to mention that the Heat are among those linked the most to the 10-time NBA All-Star.

For Heat fans, this can make them feel really good about Miami’s chances to win the Antetokounmpo trade sweepstakes.

That being said, a talent like Antetokounmpo should generate intense competition even if pulling off such a trade is going to be easier said than done, considering the factors that come with such an undertaking.

Antetokounmpo is currently sidelined by a calf strain injury with no exact timeline for his return, but it doesn’t seem to be a serious issue to deter teams from at least kicking the tires on what they can do to convince Milwaukee to give him up.

So far in the 2025-26 NBA regular season, Antetokounmpo has averaged 28.0 points, 10.0 rebounds and 5.6 assists through 30 games, while shooting 64.5 percent from the field and 39.5 percent from behind the arc.
