Jalen Green (right hamstring injury management) was ruled questionable ahead of the Phoenix Suns’ game against the Detroit Pistons on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Devin Booker (right ankle sprain) remains out, while Collin Gillespie (right hand sprain) is questionable. Isaiah Livers was not on Wednesday’s injury report after being a late scratch in Tuesday’s game with an illness.
Suns head coach Jordan Ott said at practice on Wednesday there has been no setbacks with Green and he is eager to return to the court. Ott added the team wanted to be smart with Green’s health due to back-to-back games with the Pistons and Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday and Friday, respectively.
“There’s a plan and we will see how he reacts to what he did today on the court and we will head into this back-to-back to do what is best for him,” Ott said. “He wants to get back as fast as possible. We want him back but we are going to be smart.”
Green has only played in four of 47 regular-season games for the Suns due to the injury. He has missed the last two games after exiting early in Friday’s game against the Atlanta Hawks.
