Los Angeles Lakers head coach JJ Redick is simply alarmed over the Cleveland Cavaliers' court following the brief immediate exit of Luka Doncic due to a leg injury.

With the current look of the court and the safety threat it poses for players, Redick is wondering why it still exists.
"That’s way above my pay grade. It is absolutely a safety hazard, and I don’t know why it’s still like that," he told reporters.
"You can lodge formal complaints, but a lot of times you don’t see any change when you do."
After firing a three-pointer in the first quarter, Doncic hopped backward and slipped off the edge of Cleveland's elevated court, which sits about 10 inches above the floor of the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse.
The Lakers star fell and sustained a lower leg injury. He was hobbling as he entered the locker, but subsequently returned to the game.
Unfortunately, the court caused several injury incidents in the NBA. Three years ago, Miami Heat guard Dru Smith suffered a season-ending third-degree ACL sprain in his right knee. After contesting Max Strus' triple, he slipped off the raised floor, causing his leg to twist awkwardly.
