The Slovenian star expressed concerns about the injury he sustained on the controversial elevated court of the Cavaliers.
Luka Doncic didn't hide his concerns about the leg injury scare he endured in the Los Angeles Lakers-Cleveland Cavaliers matchup.

Particularly, he is alarmed that he almost sustained a serious injury due to the Cavs' elevated court.
"I got scared. It wasn’t a great feeling. Looking back at the video, I think I got a little lucky," he said in the postgame of their 129-99 loss.
"It hurts more now, but I tried to go."
With less than eight minutes in the first quarter, Doncic backpedalled after pulling up a three-point attempt. During the process, he accidentally fell on the court and sustained a lower leg injury.
He eventually returned to the game, but his discomfort was visible as he hobbled all the way to the locker room right after the play.

In 2023, Miami Heat guard Dru Smith sustained a season-ending ACL injury after he slid and fell awkwardly off the elevated court.
"That’s the first thing I thought. That’s why I got scared. It’s the only court that’s like this, so I guess it’s my fault," Luka said while smiling.
"I stopped jumping like that."
