Here is how Liverpool's loanees have been performing during the 2025/26 season, including some who have been recalled:

Vitezslav Jaros: The Czech goalkeeper established himself as the number one at Ajax under John Heitinga, having earlier signed a long-term Liverpool extension before completing the move, though he had dropped to the bench for Heitinga's final game before his November sacking. Jaros is now adapting to life under interim boss Fred Grim and has reclaimed his starting spot, playing a vital role in Ajax's recent unbeaten run and starting Champions League wins against Qarabag and Villarreal.

James McConnell: The midfielder’s loan at Ajax was more challenging, as he struggled for consistent minutes before the sacking of John Heitinga. New interim manager Grim confirmed McConnell had returned to Liverpool after an injury-hit end to 2025, and he has been linked with a Championship loan for the second half of the season.

Harvey Elliott: Elliott is at Aston Villa on a season-long loan, but manager Unai Emery recently admitted the club have been hesitant to play him to avoid triggering a £35million permanent transfer if he makes 10 appearances. Major League Soccer side Charlotte FC have been exploring a move to save the Englishman from his predicament, though Elliott made a Premier League matchday squad for the first time in more than three months on Sunday.

Kostas Tsimikas: His time at Roma has been difficult, with the Greek defender struggling to adapt to a wing-back system and falling down the pecking order. With Andy Robertson heavily linked to a move to Tottenham this January, there were growing reports that Liverpool may look to recall Tsimikas early, but those Robertson talks now appear to be over.

Owen Beck: The left-back spent the first half of the season at Derby County, but a hamstring injury kept him from featuring in the Championship. He has recently returned to Liverpool following the conclusion of his loan spell and could remain at Anfield to provide defensive cover rather than going back out on loan.

Lewis Koumas: Liverpool confirmed on Monday that Koumas has been recalled from his loan spell at Birmingham City following a period where the young forward scored once but found consistent starting opportunities difficult to come by at St Andrew's. Koumas is now expected to be made available for a new loan move for the remainder of the season, with Championship side Hull City reportedly among the clubs interested in securing his services.

Harvey Davies: The goalkeeper is currently on a season-long loan at Crawley Town in League Two after signing a new contract with Liverpool in June 2025. He has been a frequent starter, accumulating over 1,700 minutes of action, and has been praised by manager Scott Lindsey for his shot-stopping and ability to build play from the back.
