Jamie Carragher has been proven completely wrong after Chelsea qualified for the Champions League Round of 16.
It was a night that Chelsea fans will remember for a long while.
Chelsea had been winless in Naples since their first meeting in 2012, and Napoli was on a massive home streak, remaining unbeaten at the Maradona for over a year.
But Liam Rosenior got the job done thanks to the help of Joao Pedro with his two goals in the second half, which completely flattened a threatening Napoli side.
Another positive to come out of the night was the £10 million extra that Chelsea pocketed for finishing in the top eight, though we probably won’t see any of it.
Regardless, it was nice to shut Jamie Carragher up as well.

Jamie Carragher predicted Chelsea wouldn’t get out of the group stages
Pundits are always saying some rather outlandish things, and that’s no different with Jamie Carragher and his pre-season prediction for Chelsea.
Speaking on the Overlap podcast, Carragher’s ‘hot take’ about Chelsea was that they wouldn’t make it out of the so-called group stages in the Champions League.
“I don’t think Chelsea will qualify out of the Champions League group stage.”
And now, in hindsight, he couldn’t have been more wrong.
The fact that Chelsea now find themselves in the Round of 16 shows how well this group of players have done under Enzo Maresca and now Liam Rosenior.
To have pundits writing you off from the get-go and now silencing them in style.

Jamie Carragher is already doubting Jeremy Jacquet
Hopefully, Jamie Carragher is also wrong about Jeremy Jacquet if he makes his way to Chelsea, as he believes the Premier League title is out of reach unless an elite centre-back is signed.
“The reason they chop and change centre-backs so often is that they’ve got so many of them. But they’re all the same level. There’s no real standout,” Carragher said on Sunday.
“That defender [Jacquet] will come in will show great potential, great pedigree, but he’ll make mistakes because he’s young, and that’s what young defenders do,” he added.
“That’s definitely an area they have to improve. If they don’t, I don’t see anyone outside Chelsea being worried about them winning a league title in the next year or two.”
Can we prove him horribly wrong once again?
