Jurgen Klopp set for Anfield touchline return

**Jurgen Klopp is set to make an emotional return to the Anfield touchline.**

Klopp spent eight-and-a-half years as Liverpool manager, winning a host of major honours including the Champions League and their first-ever Premier League title.

The German stepped away at the end of the 2023/24 season but was in the stands when Arne Slot’s side lifted their second modern top flight championship last May.

But Klopp will return to his former stomping ground again as part of a Liverpool Legends’ management team for their clash with his old club Borussia Dortmund.

As an honourary ambassador of the LFC Foundation, the 58-year-old will join forces with Anfield icon Sir Kenny Dalglish in the charity fixture on Saturday, March 28.

Assisting the pair will be Liverpool’s record all-time goal scorer Ian Rush and John Aldridge, chairman of the club’s former players’ association Forever Reds.
