Cole Palmer silenced his doubters in Chelsea’s 3-2 win over Napoli in the Champions League, laying on two assists for both of Joao Pedro’s goals.
It’s nice to finally see a smile back on the face of Cole Palmer after some testing times at Chelsea.
There were bizarre rumours of a potential move to Manchester United, as well as some outlets stating that Palmer was unhappy at Chelsea.
However, that was all cleared up by Liam Rosenior, who had a chat with Palmer.

Palmer’s 45-minute display against Napoli shows just how important he can be in crunch matches, as the Blues would be preparing for a play-off right now if it weren’t for his excellence.
But that’s not all he’s good for, as he’s also been privately helping a Chelsea youngster.
Cole Palmer sends messages to Chelsea loan player Kendry Paez
Kendry Paez hasn’t quite lived up to the expectations since joining Chelsea. He’s spent the first half of the season out on loan at Strasbourg, but just hasn’t been able to adjust to European football.
This has resulted in Chelsea sending Paez back to South America in what is believed to be an 18-month loan spell at River Plate.
One thing that will give Chelsea fans confidence is the fact that both Cole Palmer and Reece James believe in Paez’s ability, according to Ben Jacobs.
“Sources maybe two, three weeks ago, thought a move to England might be possible to kind of further help with his acclimatisation, and now it turns out he’s going to be going back to South America, to Argentina, to River Plate. This one is all agreed in principle.
“Palmer, I think, had spoken to Kendry Paez even when he was at Strasbourg, kind of to speak to him about long-term integration, and Reece James has had a conversation with him as well.

“So a lot of the senior Chelsea players have been quite invested in Kendry Paez because they think that he could be big for the football club one day.
“But in the short term, with the World Cup in mind, the parties have basically agreed that a better option is to send Kendry Paez back to South America, and this will be a season-long loan, which is significant because, remember, the Argentine Primera Division begins in January and ends in December.”
