The Italian media were really impressed with Cole Palmer, who assisted both of Joao Pedro’s goals, which came after Enzo Fernandez’s penalty.
For all of the quality that the Blues have, though, AC Milan legend Clarence Seedorf still thinks they are lacking something.

Clarence Seedorf claims Chelsea need someone like Kevin De Bruyne
Kevin De Bruyne only joined Napoli last summer after leaving Manchester City on a free transfer, so it is unlikely that he will be available.
At 34, the attacking midfielder does not fit the profile of player that Chelsea have been signing under Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital.
Nevertheless, Seedorf thinks the Club World Cup winners are crying out for a player like De Bruyne.
When asked by Prime Video Sport who should Chelsea sign, the Netherlands icon said: “Any player like De Bruyne, [Luka] Modric, [Toni] Kroos, not playing any more unfortunately, but maybe they can make a call and see if Kroos wants to come back!”
Rosenior at least has Palmer, who looked close to his best at times against Napoli. The pass he played to Pedro for the Brazilian’s second goal was perfect.

While it is a transfer that Seedorf would like to see, with De Bruyne no longer in his prime and picking up injuries, he will not be at the top of Chelsea fans’ shortlist.

Chelsea considered Kevin De Bruyne move before Manchester City exit
While Chelsea’s transfer strategy may be focused on signing young players, it is thought that they actually did consider signing De Bruyne before he left City for Napoli last year.
According to journalist Simon Phillips, Chelsea discussed bringing De Bruyne back to Stamford Bridge.
In the end, nothing materialised, allowing Napoli to swoop in and capture the Belgium international. However, because of a hamstring injury, he has only played eight Serie A games this season and missed his side’s loss to Chelsea in the Champions League.
