Barcelona midfielder Marc Bernal has made it clear he has no intention of leaving the club following speculation he could move on loan in the January transfer window.
“My intention has always been to stay; this is my club and my life, and that will always be the case,” he told reporters.
Hansi Flick has also said this month that he wants Bernal to stay and to help him reach his full potential at Camp Nou.
“I hope he stays. My opinion is clear, but in football you never know what can happen,” he told reporters.
“He’s coming back from an injury, he’s improving and getting back into shape. He has a lot of potential and we want to help him reach that potential.”
He’s had to be patient since returning from injury but will hope for plenty more minutes in the second half of the campaign.
