Scoot Henderson Close to Injury Return for Trail Blazers

Portland Trail Blazers guard Scoot Henderson has entered the final stretch of injury recovery, according to [a report from Sean Highkin of the Rose Garden Report](https://x.com/highkin/status/2016957080381350118?s=20). Henderson has been out for the entirety of the 2025-2026 season, missing all of the Blazers’ 48 games, due to a torn hamstring suffered in a preseason workout. Highkin does not provide an exact date for Henderson’s return, but indicates that he has been cleared to participate in full-contact drills.

During his sophomore campaign, Henderson posted averages of 12.7 points, 3 rebounds, and 5 assists on 41% shooting from the floor and 35% from three.

The Blazers have spent most of their season without a true point guard in the lineup due to injuries to Henderson, veteran Jrue Holiday, and reserve Blake Wesley. Guard Damian Lillard is also sidelined for the season with a torn Achilles tendon.
